The Butler County Tourism Foundation, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization for the betterment of Butler County. The foundation is run through Butler County Tourism & Convention Bureau whose mission is to support businesses who enhance consumer experiences and promote economic development through a coordinated marketing effort, defining Butler County, PA, as an exceptional place to live, work and visit. The 501(c)(3) was established in May 2010 for education and historic restoration through tax deductible contributions.
Statement by Butler County Tourism Foundation on Kaufman House Revitalization
Update from Butler County Tourism Foundation (BCTF) and the Borough of Zelienople regarding The Kaufman House Revitalization Project.
In December 2015 Butler County Tourism Foundation purchased the Kaufman House with intentions of restoring the building back to its original grandeur and to operate the property as a restaurant, coffee shop, lounge and a boutique hotel with 18 rooms.
The Borough of Zelienople is committed to The Kaufman House Revitalization Project and has purposed to purchase the property from BCTF. BCTF has agreed to the selling and has every intention of continuing to work with Zelienople to ensure success of the project.
